Early Career Teachers

Overview
This online program provides newly appointed support staff with an introduction to the foundational story of Catholic schools and come to better understand their specific purpose is to live Jesus’ mission in a faith community.


More than just a job, working in a Catholic school requires us to consider our work as a ministry of service that we are called to by God.  Every staff member, no matter what position they hold, has a significant role to play in the mission of the school.


Aims
With this online program participants will:
  • discern the concept of discipleship in the Catholic Tradition
  • understand the nature and mission of the Church and of making disciples
  • recognise the life and mission of Catholic schools
  • become more aware of the history and  fabric of the Diocese of Bathurst.
Duration
This induction program consists of ten hours of online learning activities.

Completion of this course will gain Category Level B Accreditation for 'To Work, Teach and Lead'
