Target Audience:  All Staff and Other Parishoners

Overview
This workshop explores the background, intention and spirituality of Jesus as a way of developing an informed and authentic approach to teaching topics like, parables, healing stories, prayer, Eucharist, priorities of Jesus (e.g. nourishing relationships, compassion, growth to wholeness) and other issues that surface in discussion.
 
Familiarity with the background, intention and spirituality of Jesus will enable us to:
  • add interest and purpose to classroom lessons and discussions,
  • experience personal and professional confidence in our classroom presentations,
  • competently adapt our knowledge to whatever age group we are teaching.

Duration
This is a one day professional development opportunity to upskill teachers in their understanding of the Bible and its application and use with students.
