Overview
RECs in Bathurst in primary and secondary schools will engage as senior leaders with all members of the school and broader community to enhance learning for all. The REC will respond to the local school and parish context, the culture, resources, and the identified school improvement plan. They will work to embrace this context with creative and innovative solutions that support quality outcomes for all.. Through their leadership actions the REC has a significant responsibility to build the capacity of other members of the school community in the area of Catholic Life, Education and Mission. Aims The induction process will encompass a one-day - Welcome, Orientation and Induction meeting that will be followed by meetings across the year, by the RE and Formation Team |
Duration
This induction program will include a study of the REC role descriptions, the RE Curriculum, Prayer and Liturgy, Parish and wider community connections and other areas specific to the role in the diocese.
