Spirituality and Faith Formation
​Target Audience:  Long Term Experienced Teachers

Overview
Experienced Catholic teachers with a genuine sense of mission, vocation and professionalism will arrive a time where renewal and reinvigoration maybe necessary to fulfil their vocation more fully.  A time of personal reflection, prayer and nourishment is required so as to continue to fan the embers of these efforts into a flame.
 

Aims
With this program participants will:
  • contemplate their own life journey as a Catholic educator and consider their role in mentoring in the formation of a new generation of young teachers,
  • reflect where they find sources for spiritual nourishment and renewal in their chosen vocation
  • consider ways in which they continue to assist our schools to be places where Jesus is encountered each day
  • understand the link between faith, physical, emotional and their own wellbeing
 Duration
The formation program will include a day of reflections on,  interactive exercises, time for personal reflection and journaling, and small group reflection.
